Analysis of Job Advertisements

In a world full of adventures and challenges, you embark on a journey through the mysterious land of the professional world. You discover an ancient scroll – a job advertisement – pointing the way to your next great adventure. Here are the clues you need to keep in mind along your path:

The Job Description – Your Quest

At this stage of your adventure, you’ll find a rough outline of what your mission will be. You may be called upon to wield powerful tools that play a crucial role in this world. In secret discussions among experts, you’ll often hear phrases like, "That’s always part of the job" or "Daily business." These skills may seem second nature to you, but even if they feel familiar, make sure to log them in your hero’s journal – your CV (you’ll see why later). Pay close attention to the hidden keywords in the job description. These could prove valuable and open doors to new challenges if you’ve already mastered these skills.

The Requirements – Your Gear

To prove yourself in this adventure, you'll need specific gear (tools) and experience. The requirements give you clues about how well-prepared you need to be for the journey ahead.

Degree – Your Armour:

A degree is like protective armour that can help you in certain regions, especially when entering the world of collective agreements.

Work Experience – Your Experience as an Adventurer:

This experience shows how long you've been fighting and surviving in this field. It gives you an idea of whether the role is for a novice, a seasoned heroine, or even a master. If the quest calls for 5 years of experience and you’ve just finished your training, it may be tough to tackle this challenge.

Tools – Your Weapons:

The tools you’ll need to wield in your adventure are often crucial. The more you master, the greater your chances of triumph. Even if you don’t know a specific tool but have used something similar, be sure to record that in your hero’s journal.

Language Skills – Your Spells:

For some quests, you’ll need to command the language of ancient realms. Watch for the classifications that tell you how well you need to know the language:

  • A1 – Beginner: You understand the most basic words of the spell.
  • A2 – Elementary: You can cast simple spells.
  • B1 – Intermediate: You’re already a skilled spellcaster.
  • B2 – Fluent: You wield powerful spells with ease.
  • C1 – Proficient: You can hold your own in heated discussions.
  • C2 – Native Level: You speak the magic of the language like a born sorcerer. Sometimes, you'll be required to have, for instance, proficient German skills. But don’t worry: a certificate is often not necessary. What matters is that you have the power to participate in a German meeting without needing a translator or magical translation aid.

Prepare well, and equip yourself with the skills you need to conquer your next adventure in the professional world!
